Warframe has an array of social features available to all players including clans, trading, and chat functions. Though not strictly required to interact with, new players will find great value in pursuing a clan and asking for help whenever required. 

 

To join a clan, simply open the chat in the bottom left of your screen, tab over to the recruiting chat, and type that youre a new player looking for a clan. You should have kind players reaching out to you in new chat tabs offering their clans. This bottom left menu also allows you to access the many other social channels in Warframe that you can use to your advantage. Notably, if you ever have a question, don't be afraid to ask in the help chat!

Clans offer exclusive access to a lot of the game’s weapons and warframes, and joining a clan is highly advised at some point in your journey. To join a clan after receiving an invite, simply open your main menu, select communications, select mail, then accept the offer.

You have access to trade chat in the bottom left as well. Trade chat allows you to exchange items and negotiate with other players. In the chat, the main things youll see are “WTB -insert item-” which represents WANT TO BUY, or “WTS -insert item-” which represents WANT TO SELL.

 

To interact in this community or any other, simply select the name of whomever you'd like to interact with in the chat, and select “message”.
